Talk talk talk

Rachel is finding her voice and her arms and legs just seem to go with the talking. This was a great moment when Malachi was napping and Rachel and I were alone. I love my kids and the precious moments we get together.

Quirks and words!

Here's a video from our fun trip to the Cider Mill and I hadn't gotten to upload this yet. So enjoy our cute son as he shows you his quirks and fun new words...with snot running down his lovely face:)

Here's the SMILE

Finally she's smiled! Yippee...hard to get the perfect picture but at 6 1/2 weeks we have a beautiful smile. I love it!

Uncle John's Cider Mill

This is our fun family adventure to Malachi's and Rachel's first pumpkin patch...and cider mill....and for mom and dad we enjoyed the wine tasting! (the Sparkling Harvest Peach wine and the Concord grape was awesome!) Most of the pictures are of Malachi of course because he can enjoy this the most...later Rachel will join him! Here's our pumpkins!

Oh the funny faces!

And here are the funny faces of our kids. Can't help but laugh at how cute they are.

The really want to be like us???

So, in the midst of all this chaos and fun is our little children that want to be like us because we're all they know...that's crazy! It's absolutely the most amazing thing to be a parent and to influence the life of your children. I cannot imagine what else I'd rather be doing than this....well doing this in Colorado would be nice...but that's another soap box. I love these pictures of our children and I pray that we are godly examples for them above teaching them the basics of this life on earth.

We absolutely can't get enough of these two! It's amazing to see each of us in our kids and we love that. It's also great to see how much Malachi loves his sister! He loves to give kisses and help mommy all the time. I love it.

Cute in summer dresses!

So here are her summer dresses and this will be the last time she wears them...it's way too cold!!! But she looked very cute in them thanks to our great friend Michelle for giving them to us!

Rachel...being Rachel...

And here again is Rachel at 3 1/2 weeks. She's just precious...and man does she sleep a lot!
Here's our beautiful daughter Rachel Eliana at 3 weeks old. Not doing much, but absolutely gorgeous doing nothing!
So this is another great moment of laughter with daddy this time! One morning when anything daddy did was funny.
Well...here's a few weeks ago when Grandpa Bob was here for Rachel's birth and had a blast playing with Malachi. He's got an infectious laugh! We love it.

So here are my kiddos! Let me tell you that "the face" Malachi is making absolutely fits my charming gentle son. He's absolutely loveable and fun. Rachel...well she's all eyes and mostly sleeping and eating now...and sometimes pooping in explosive ways! Yes, this is also Malachi's first time on some form of rollerskates. He did real good and refused the help of mom. Super cute and so fun.

Afraid of fly's???

Image
Scary isn't he????

The "Fly"

To start this story I must let you know that our son is only 23 months and when something new and uncomfortable happens to him it tends to frighten him...so here goes. While driving away from Aaron's work Malachi begins to scream...as if he was in pain. I'm trying to look at him in my mirror to see if he got pinched by the buckle or something. Nope...he's in tears...I mean crying so hard he can't breathe and he's frozen. There is a fly on his arm...yep and he won't move. I'm trying tell him to move his arm like mommy and he will not move! The fly slowly walks down his arm and he still won't move. He's petrafied. Absolutely frozen. The fly stops on his hand and he is in utter fear by now. So I park right away which is very far from the entry to Walmart. I hop out and go to save my son from this horrible fly. I smack it in the air with my shoe and it meets it's destruction on the carpet with the sole of my shoe. Malachi calms a little and says &qu

The Beginning!!

Well, here we are in Lansing, Michigan and to catch everyone up on our lives could take a long time so I'll try to make this short. After around a year of marriage in Grand Junction, Colorado Aaron was promoted to assistant mgr. of an Oak Express/Bedroom Expressions store in Billings, Montana. We lived there for 14 months and then he was promoted to store manager in a temporary store in Indianapolis, Indiana....so we did the three days drive while I was 6 1/2 months pregnant with our son, Malachi. We lived in Indy for 8 months and the store was shut down due to the economy and very saturated market of Indianapolis. So we were quickly transferred ...in the wrong direction...to Lansing, MI for another temporary spot. When I say temporary it's our prayer that we would end up in Colorado and the company is very aware that that is our desire so they are constantly watching Aaron and his improvement as a manager and Lord willing, when he's ready they'll move us to Colorado.
